this last weekend I spent around 13 hours shooting with a good friend and great photographer [link] and two wonderful models for a clothing collection designed by a friend.

I had a lot of fun doing this, although Sunday afternoon we were all so beat up that we could barely drag ourselves home and into bed... (to the computer actually, to see the images of the day )

I've come to realize that i don't really like shooting indoors...not unless I have enough portable flash power and control to get things done how I want it, and unfortunately I still don't have that

but a nice outdoor location and a good model can do wonders......and lets not forget the wonderful Canon 85mm F1.8 USM lens ...

i was about to sell the 85mm but now i fell in love with it again, and i also wish for a full frame body(5D) to go with it... cause on my 400D it's a little too long.

long things short: a lot more images from this shoot to come in the next few days and hopefully the new weekend will bring along a new shoot

i just ordered one of these babies today and it should be arriving sometime tomorrow around noon

i've been contaminated with what you would call Strobism and i'm dying to try some of the techniques myself

with the 70-200F4L and the 430Ex even i should be able to get some nice shots
